Mason was born in Bryan/College Station where he attended Bryan High School and later Texas A&M. After taking a year off for his own chemical dependency treatment, Mason graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Texas A&M before returning to the Texas Hill Country to begin his Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) Internship and the Masters of Social Work program at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Mason currently holds licenses as both a LCDC and a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). For the past three years, Mason worked as part of the magnificent weekend crew at La Hacienda’s main treatment center in Hunt, TX before accepting a job back in his hometown. In his spare time, Mason enjoys spending time with his wife and three dogs, and has recently returned to school to prepare for medical school to further his knowledge of the physiological components of addiction. He looks forward to providing addiction treatment and support to the community in which he was raised.
